Issues of Aid to Nonpublic Schools. Volume III: Public Assistance Programs for Nonpublic Schools

Here is a study published June 1, 1971 concerning the advisability of spending public funds for nonpublic schools. Of the three case studies performed one included the St. Norbert High School program with Cherry Hill High School. I thought that alumni of these schools may be interested in how our schools were viewed at the end of the period which St. Norbert High School was in operation, 1971.

I discovered this PDF file while I was looking on-line for information stating the final year the elementary school had attendance. The high school stopped accepting students in the Fall of 1971, but I have yet to find the elementary school's last year. But I thought that this report was fascinating enough to share it on this web site.

This report, sponsored by the President's Commission on School Finance, Washington, D.C., is a 779 page document. Removing the two schools that are unrelated to St. Norbert School, but including the title page and a few other support pages that identify the creation of the report, brings to attached file to a more manageable size, and 17 pages in length.

This link is to my edited copy of the report concerning St. Norbert and Cherry Hill High Schools:
