I have been trying to find out when the St. Norbert Elementary School closed for some years without success. I know about the high school; the first HS graduating class was of 1970 and a year later the class of 1971 became its last. But so far discovering the date of closure of the elementary school has been elusive.
With the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence I thought I'd put Microsoft's Copilot to the test. I wish the results were more definitive, but it seems records are just to difficult to uncover.
However, the request of Copilot was not in vain as I was able to observe that it wasn't just me who found it elusive to pinpoint the school's closure date.
Here is the unadulterated report from Copilot. I copied the text of the report to LibreOffice Writer and saved it as an html document. Then opened that and fine tuned the html coding and added the code so the links worked. I hope you enjoy the read.

Just to check all the AI bases (well, two of them anyway) I asked ChatGPT to do the same research and the result from ChatGPT was far less comprehensive, as if it only summarized the topic, though the bottom line was the same: the grade school closed between 1971 and 1986. One notable quirk is that even though I specified that the St. Norbert school was the one in Inkster, Michigan, it included in its report the school in Pennsylvania! Oops!
