This pictorial recollection was graciously donated by Chris Lamar (Christine Bielak) in loving memory of the glory days of elementary education -- the mid-Sixties at St. Norbert School, Inkster, Michigan. A time when Parochial school kids attended class and mass and learned and prayed, threw-up or fainted from long kneeling or standing, when nuns disciplined boys by yanking sideburns or cracking knuckles with wooden rulers. And admit it, you remember it all now with uncharacteristic fondness. St. Norbert's was where we learned of life, and of death. Of passing grades or failing. We either learned then or we learned later, but these lessons would seldom be far removed from us. So to help freshen a failing reminiscence this journey is offered. More donations will be cheerfully accepted. Please send stories, and/or images to firstname.lastname@example.org. And please sign the Guestbook and Comment Page and leave your wit, remembrances, and affections!
